General Terms and Conditions of Use (T&C) - Repubet

1. Preliminary Provisions

1.1. Parties

These General Terms and Conditions of Use ("T&C") govern the relationship between Repubet (hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher", "we", "us", "our"), and any person accessing or using the Repubet platform (hereinafter referred to as "the User", "you").

1.2. Application and Modification of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, the User agrees to be bound by these T&C, whether they are a registered user or not.

Repubet reserves the right to modify or update these T&C at any time to adapt to changes in the Service or regulations. Modifications will take effect upon their publication on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after the publication of modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new T&C. It is recommended to regularly consult this page to stay informed of the terms in effect. A copy of these T&C is available and electronically archived by Repubet.

1.3. Modification and Availability of the Service

Repubet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or interrupt, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the Service (features, access, availability) at its sole discretion and without notice, to ensure maintenance, update, or evolution of the Platform. Repubet shall not be held liable for the consequences of such interruptions or modifications.

2. Description of the Service

2.1. Nature of the Platform

Repubet is a social network dedicated to sports analysis and predictions. The Platform allows users to:

  • Create and share predictions on sports events.
  • Consult the community's analyses and statistics.
  • Interact via comments.

2.2. Disclaimer (Non-Gambling Connection)

Repubet is not a gambling or betting operator.

  • Nature of Information: The Platform does not offer any gambling service, does not manage any real money stakes, and does not process any transactions related to betting. The information, predictions, and analyses are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice or encouragement to bet.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your decisions. Repubet shall not be held liable for financial losses resulting from bets placed on third-party platforms following the consultation of our services.
  • Risks Related to Gambling: Sports betting involves risks (debt, isolation, addiction).
  • No Guarantee: While we strive to provide accurate data, Repubet does not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of the information. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

3. Use of the Service and User Account

3.1. Eligibility and Minimum Age

The Platform is accessible to persons aged 18 years or older.

3.2. Registration

Access to certain features requires the creation of an account via third-party services (Google Auth, Apple Auth). You are responsible for the confidentiality of your access.

3.2. Personal Use

The Service is reserved for personal and non-commercial use. Any automatic use (bots, scraping, aggregators) is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.

4. Service Contract

4.1. Object of the Contract

According to the service contract, the User will have access to the Platform's services, including content and features reserved for registered members.

4.2. Language of the Contract

The present service contract is concluded in French. In case of contradiction with a translation, only the French version shall prevail.

5. User Content (Predictions and Comments)

5.1. Responsibility

The User is solely responsible for the content they publish (texts, images). You guarantee that your content does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights.

5.2. License

By publishing content on Repubet, you grant us a free, worldwide, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display your publications on the Platform to ensure its operation.

5.3. Moderation and Removal

Repubet reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate, fraudulent, offensive, or contrary to the law, without notice.

6. Data Transparency and Integrity

In order to guarantee the integrity of statistics and the honesty of the social network:

  • Historical data of matches are kept on the Platform even after account deletion (see Article 7).

7. Duration, Termination, and Anonymization

7.1. Deletion by the User

You may terminate the contract at any time by requesting the deletion of your account from the application.

7.2. Anonymization Policy

Upon deletion of your account:

  • Definitive deletion of your identifiable personal data (First Name, Last Name, Email, Profile Picture, Nickname).
  • Anonymous maintenance of your predictions and comments. This content will remain visible on the Platform under the label "Anonymized User" in order not to distort the community's history and debates for transparency reasons.

8. Behavior, Fraud, and Harassment

8.1. Unsolicited Promotions

The User is formally prohibited from publishing any information or contacting other Repubet users to offer or promote products, services, or commercial offers (spam, third-party affiliate links, etc.) without prior authorization.

8.2. Anti-Forward and Anti-Harassment Policy

Repubet applies a zero-tolerance policy against inappropriate behavior. It is strictly forbidden to:

  • Use abusive, hateful, or discriminatory language.
  • Harass, provoke, or insult other community members.
  • Attempt to defraud the Platform or other users (e.g., false scores, manipulation of statistics).

8.3. Warnings and Sanctions

In case of violation of these T&C or manifest abuse, Repubet reserves the right to:

  1. Issue a formal warning.
  2. Temporarily suspend access to the Chat or publication features.
  3. Permanently terminate the User's account.

Any suspension or termination occurs without notice and without any compensation or refund, regardless of the account status (including for accounts with an optional subscription).

9. Optional "Repubet Plus" Subscription (Remove Ads)

9.1. Annual Subscription

Repubet offers an annual subscription to its users to remove advertisements on the application. If you choose to subscribe, recurring annual subscription fees will be charged depending on your country.

The subscription amount is indicated in the application before validation of payment. Your subscription will be automatically renewed each year at the current rate, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the expiration of the current subscription period. Your Google Play/Apple ID account will be automatically debited within 24 hours preceding the end of the current period. Subscription fees will be charged annually on a recurring basis. You can disable automatic renewal at any time from your Google Play/iTunes account settings.

9.2. Free Trial Period

If a free trial period is offered on our Platform and you then choose to subscribe to the "Remove Ads" subscription, you will not be charged during your free trial period. As defined in Article 9.2, the subscription will be automatically renewed and charged recurring annual subscription fees at the end of your free trial period. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Google Play/Apple ID account.

10. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with European legislation on digital content, by subscribing to a premium service or subscription, the User accepts the immediate execution of the service and expressly waives their right of withdrawal. For subscriptions managed via application stores (App Store / Google Play), the refund policies of these third-party platforms apply exclusively.

11. Data Protection (GDPR)

Personal data processing carried out on the Platform, as well as your rights (access, rectification, opposition, deletion, portability), are described in detail in our Privacy Policy, accessible directly on the Platform. Repubet undertakes to process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

12. Complaints and Support

Any complaint relating to the Service or a malfunction must be addressed in writing to: support@repubet.com. Repubet will endeavor to respond as soon as possible.

13. Intellectual Property of Repubet

The structure, graphics, name, and databases of the Platform are protected by copyright. Any substantial extraction of data without authorization is prohibited.

14. Availability and Liability

14.1. Warranty Limits

We strive to maintain the accuracy of sports data, but we cannot guarantee its absolute accuracy. Repubet shall not be held liable for financial losses, direct or indirect, resulting from the use of information or predictions published on the Platform.

14.2. Force Majeure

Repubet will not be responsible for network failures, power cuts, or cyberattacks disrupting the service.

15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These T&C are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
