Repubet (hereinafter referred to as "Repubet", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy informs you about how we process your personal data when you: (a) sign up on our Platform; (b) visit our website or use our mobile applications; (c) interact with our services.

Minimum Age and Minors

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 years or older. The use of the Platform is strictly prohibited for minors. Repubet does not knowingly collect data concerning persons under 18 years of age.

  • Identity Data: Name, nickname, profile picture.
  • Contact Data: Email address.
  • Third-party Authentication Data: When you log in via Google or Apple, we retrieve your email address, display name, and profile picture for account creation purposes.

  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our Platform and services (predictions, comments, session time).
  • Marketing Data: Your preferences regarding push notifications and potential communications.

Note: We do not collect any "sensitive" data (religion, health, sexual orientation, etc.).

  • Website (repubet.com): Strictly 0 cookie policy. No trackers are dropped.
  • Mobile App: Use of a Consent Management Platform (CMP). Internal analytics are used in a pseudonymized manner (data does not allow you to be directly identified).
  • Personalized Advertising: Ads may be contextual or personalized. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via App settings (Notifications) or your device settings (iOS/Android).

5. Sharing and International Transfers

Your data is never sold. It is shared with technical providers (Supabase, AWS, Netlify) who are contractually bound. These providers are only authorized to process your data on behalf of Repubet and according to our instructions, solely for the services provided.

In case of data transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We implement technical and organizational measures (SSL encryption, restricted access, audits) to protect your data.

Our Platform may include links to third-party websites. We do not control these sites and invite you to consult their own privacy policies.

9. Retention and Anonymization

Your personal data (email, identifiers, profile, preferences) is kept as long as your account is active.

In case of deletion:

  1. Your direct identification data, profile, and preferences are deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
  2. Your predictions are anonymized based on our legitimate interest (integrity of statistics).
  3. Technical logs are kept for 6 months and IP addresses for 12 months for security purposes.
